8 Suzuki RV125 Van Van
The Van Van, like the Yamaha YBR, favours classic cruiser styling rather than sports bike fairings and a raked profile.
That means big front forks, wide handle bars and chrome aplenty. There are also spokes, spokes and more spokes and minimal fairings across the body giving it something of a naked-look. Kind of.
If you’re after the Van Van you’re probably buying it for reasons other than its style and looks, with its robust and comfortable set-up winning lots of fans since its launch in 2003.
It’s a retro-bike and while it’s not suited to motorway driving (60mph feels a long way off on the Van Van) it’s good for commuting and short trips.
At £3,149, the Van Van isn’t cheap but it’s a retro-reliable option if you’re in the market for a 125.
